Ketan was agitated when the sole of one of his shoes came off suddenly. He couldn’t attend the job interview without shoes. He really wanted this job.
He saw a cobbler a few paces away.
“Look, I have an interview in 15 minutes. Please fix this shoe quickly.”
Ketan was surprised when he got back the shoe quicker than expected.
“Thank you so much! What is your name?”
“Omar, saab.”
As Omar packed up that night, he saw a packet and inside it was a pair of fresh slippers. Ketan had landed the job and ensured that he thanked Omar.

Slippers for a cobbler? 🙂 I wonder…
Did Ketan observe something about the cobbler that made him choose that gift?

Not really. He wanted to gift something simple.
