“She is from Ghana?” Ashwini asked.
“Yes, what’s the matter?” her roommate Sameera responded.
“I hate people from that place. I can’t have her as my roommate.”
“What?”
“Yes, I cannot stand people from that country or anyone from Africa. They are ugly!”
Sameera was shocked Ashwini was xenophobic. A very sad state, she wondered.

Sadly, this is true for many people. A phobia without any proper reason, or based on generalization maybe.
